The First Kitchen Opens
Our founder opened the original Davanni's in a modest Brooklyn Center space with 12 seats, three menu items, and an unshakeable belief that great food changes lives. Lines formed down the block within the first week.
Expanding the Menu
After five years of packed tables and loyal regulars, we expanded our kitchen and launched a full menu of handcrafted dishes. The hoagie and pizza offerings became instant neighborhood favorites still cherished today.
Catering & Community Growth
We launched our full-service catering program, bringing Davanni's food to weddings, corporate events, and school gatherings across the Twin Cities metro. Community partnerships with local schools and nonprofits began this year.
Complete Restaurant Renovation
After two decades of growth, we renovated the flagship location — expanding seating, modernizing our kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment, and creating the warm, inviting dining room our guests enjoy today.
Online Ordering & Delivery Launch
We launched our digital ordering platform and expanded delivery coverage across Brooklyn Center and neighboring communities, making it easier than ever to enjoy Davanni's from the comfort of home.
